About Us

Welcome to 360 Auto Service, your local neighborhood shop where Shane Pennel and his dedicated team combine their passion for cars with a commitment to exceptional service. Shane’s journey in auto repair began at a young age, alongside his grandfather – a seasoned mechanic whose craftsmanship and dedication left an indelible mark on Shane. Shane fondly remembers the early days of holding tools and dreaming of the day he could turn his passion into a thriving business. Those formative moments, knee-high to a grasshopper, laid the foundation for what would become 360 Auto Service.

Together with his supportive wife of 28 years, Tammie, Shane has transformed 360 Auto Service into a community cornerstone known for its integrity and dependable automotive care. Tammie and Shane have raised two wonderful children who reflect their values and commitment. Their daughter, McCayla, completed her nursing program and now excels as a Registered Nurse, embodying a career dedicated to caring for others. Their son, Tanner Pennel, has followed a unique path, first earning a bachelor’s degree in legal studies and becoming a paramedic before joining the family business. Tanner, now the General Manager at 360 Auto Service, brings a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to exceptional customer service. Tanner is married to Olyvia, who enriches the team with her own skills and enthusiasm.

Shane’s dedication to the trade is matched by his understanding of family needs. As a father, Shane knows how crucial safety and reliability are on the road, and this personal experience influences every repair and service at 360 Auto Service. His goal is to ensure that every vehicle receives meticulous care, and every customer enjoys a stress-free experience.

At 360 Auto Service, Shane and his team take pride in being locally owned and operated. This allows them to tailor their services to the specific needs of their community. From routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, every vehicle is treated with the utmost care and attention. In every interaction, you’ll find Shane’s commitment to honesty, reliability, and a genuine passion for cars shining through. The entire team strives to make your visit memorable, ensuring you leave with confidence in your vehicle and a smile on your face.

Community involvement is a cornerstone of 360 Auto Service’s philosophy. The team actively supports local events and causes, such as the Chamber Project, where they dedicate a day each year to non-profit labor work, and various events honoring first responders such First Responders 7th Annual Appreciation Event held in July 2024, with Peterson Outdoor Ministries.

Shane and Tammie’s journey from starting with nothing to where they are today is driven by a deep desire to build a secure future for their family and create a lasting legacy. At 360 Auto Service, this drive translates into a commitment to exceptional service and a dedication to investing back into the community they cherish.

Join us at 360 Auto Service and experience the difference of working with a team that values community, family, and your satisfaction above all else. We look forward to welcoming you and your vehicle with the care and attention they deserve.

Our Team

Shane Pennel

Owner

Shane grew up in the automotive industry learning from his Grandpa at a young age. He knew early on that he wanted to someday open a repair shop that would set the bar for others. He worked for John Deere for two years in high school and then went to SEK Community College after he graduated from high school. While going to college he was working for his Grandpa at nights and on the weekends. After his Grandpa retired, Shane worked for a Chrysler dealership, GM dealerships and independent shops. In 2006, Shane started working in Neosho at Griffith Motors and for various used car dealers in the Neosho and Joplin area. In 2012, Shane left Griffith to work primarily for the used car dealers in Joplin before opening 360° Auto Service in 2015. Shane is using the knowledge that he has acquired over the years to develop a repair shop that is driven by customer service with a family atmosphere.

Shane loves spending time on the water with family and off-roading.

Tanner Pennel

General Manager
Tanner is married to his best friend and the love of his life, with whom he enjoys creating and building things together. He often credits her as the brains behind their success, appreciating the teamwork they share.
At 360 Auto Service, he strives to make a difference by inspiring those around him. He believes in creating an environment where no one feels less than for not knowing something, as everyone has their own strengths and areas of expertise.
What he loves most about 360 Auto Service is the incredible team—everyone is willing to lend a hand and support one another whenever needed.
For Tanner, success is not just about big achievements; it’s also about the little victories, like waking up each morning or meeting a goal. He believes that growth happens in both the small and large moments of life.
Growing up near Grand Lake, Oklahoma, Tanner had a winding journey to the automotive field. Though his father kept him away from vehicles early on, he always had a strong desire to serve his community. Initially studying to be a criminal attorney, he eventually found a passion for firefighting and EMS. While completing his degree in legal studies at NSU in Tahlequah, OK, he applied for a firefighter position at the Bernice Fire Department, which led him to pursue his paramedic license.
After graduating college, he worked for Muskogee County EMS, where he continued his training to become a paramedic. He eventually returned home to join Grove EMS and continued to feel drawn to his father’s automotive business. After some persistence, he was hired as a lube tech and worked his way up through the ranks to become the service manager. Now, he’s working alongside his father to grow the business and help the community, while also continuing to serve as a paramedic/firefighter with Quapaw Fire & EMS.
Through his work at 360 Auto Service and his community involvement, Tanner strives to make a lasting impact in both the automotive industry and the lives of those he serves.
